My daughter was given a rental car for a couple of weeks following hers being totaled. The Enterprise agent tried to sell us a car on the spot (with a big incredible story and for about 1000 over book value), and I told him it we were going to look for a while and that NO, and off-lease car was NOT in her price range.
Then a few days another fellow who identifies himself as being from Enterprise calls and tries AGAIN to sell my daughter an off lease car. I told him that it was NOT in our budget, and he persisted with saying "we can get her in a low payment", etc, etc.
The last thing she needs on a low budget is car payments, and I do NOT appreciate them sharing my number for the purpose of soliciting, when my only business with them is a temporary car rental! It really seems illegal...an advice?
