I purchased a 2007 Jeep Commander just a year ago. The extended warranty (power train warranty) that Enterprise offered with the sale of the car was a main point in purchasing the vehicle. Then, when the warranty was just about up, I received a trasmission code when...

My husband and I were planning on purchasing a car from enterprise this week. I have read all of the comments and I can’t believe the horrible experiences people have had with them. I have definitely changed my mind !

I live in Lakeland. My wife is working with Car Salesman in Tampa office. She picked out a 2010 Chryler Town & Country Plus Van advertised for $17,999 in West Virginia. She had Vehicle Buyer Order submitted to her Credit Union for approval. She was approved for the...

My girlfriend amazingly got a very good job recently. She bought a 2008 Mitsubishi for $14,000. She put $5,000 down, financing just $9,000. With taxes license et all, The pure vehicle costs $150 per month for 5 years. She had no credit history, and was told she would...

You obviously don't understand financing at all. My guess is that $9,000 was the base price before you calculate sales tax, doc fees, license and after-market products.

But let's assume you're right and she only financed $9k. A $276/mo loan at 60 months is 26.66% interest. While that is high, it isn't completely unheard of for challenged or limited credit buyers. And it is nowhere near the 78% you think you had.

And if you add sales tax, and any other legal charges and fees you get an even lower rate. You might want to educate yourself before you make false claims.

Enterprise car sales submitted my application for credit fraudulently

I filled out a credit application for Enterprise car sales to be surprisely turned down due to insufficient collateral. I found out that without my authorization the finance manager had submitted a request for more than $20,000 on a car with a book value of less than $17,000 claiming that they automatically add in an extended warrenty without mentioning it. Cornelius the very respectful salesman ignored us when we requested copies of what they had submitted using our personal information. This Enterprise Car Sales is located in suburban Philadelphia and although reported to the corporate office there has been no resolution.

Actually submitting for 20k was wise action on thier part. If the car is 17k after registration, tax, fees you may decide to add something on.

If they had not done so and submitted it for the 17k only you would have had to leave cash for balance or if you wanted to add more they would have to run it again showing various inquiries on your credit report. They should give you the info but the action of running a little extra is standard pretty much anywhere you go.

Enterprise Car Sales, Orange, CA

Car on Ebay sales as of 4-24-08pm. Called sales on 4-23, told car available, informed sales I'm driving to store am next day. Car was sold 4-18. Ya they have a unique way of trying to sell here. Don't waste your time or gas. No guts, no balls, stay away! Not sure how you confirm car, but sales, Mike, not capable of telling whats on the lot. Mikey wasn't there even though I told him I was coming, he needs a new job, possibly Wendy's has a open position in trash detail.

The same thing happened to us last night in MA. We wanted to buy the car listed at $15,999.

We had the VIN # and asked car be moved to MA from NH. We arrived for our appt and were told the car wasnt there. We located the car on lot and were told it was mistakenly sold to someone else in NY.

Classic bait & Switch. Someone should do an expose on this sleazy company!!!

Enterprise Car Sales in San Diego, California - Lost money due to wrong information from Enterprise

Hi All I went o buy a car from enterprise, Balboa Ave, San Diego office. I was given a lot of wrong info about the warranty, etc about the car. Based on the info, i bought the car and the car got a very minor scratch on its back. Next day, when i went to get the documents, i realized that some of the information given to me was wrong. I thought to give back the car as per the return policy because the current warranty status does not meet my priority. They heavily charged me on the minor scratch and they told me that i would be let free without paying the heavy amount if i buy a more priced car. First of all, i approached them because i didn't have enough money to buy a brand new car. On top of that they charged me heavily when i wanted to return the car after realizing wrong information. It was pretty bad experience i ever had from a car rental/sale company. Enterprise Sucks!

If I understand your situation, you purchased a car, damaged it, returned it, then became upset when they charged you to repair the damage you made?

Why should it be their responsibility to pay for your mistakes and lack of attention?

Salesman told me in front of a witness that the Kia Optima had 60,000 miles and 5 years left on the factory warranty. I found out from the dealer after I bought the car that it had 30,000 miles and three years left on the warranty. It was not a misunderstanding but...

I has a similar experience in California. I PURCHASED an extended warranty which was supposed to bring my 3 year, 36,000 miles UP TO 6 years and 72,000 miles.

(The car was one year old and had 30,000 miles on it. When I received the paperwork, they added 36,000 miles onto the 30,000 and it's only covered for 66,000 miles. I called the salesman and he told me, that's what they do, and I should just accept the fact that I will have double coverage for 6000 miles.

I am going to cancel the extended warranty, and purchase it when I reach 36,000 miles. However, I can't find anyone except for the salesman to contact.
